We're looking for volunteers to help welcome people into our church.
Welcome new families and use a computer to help them check in their kids. During the service, provide administrative support to our classroom leaders and answer questions from families.
If you enjoy hanging out with kids and sharing the love of Jesus, we’d love for you to join our team! Leader and helper positions are available during weekend services (Nursery to Grade 6) and Wednesday morning Buddy Break (Nursery to Kindergarten). We are also looking for people to be a buddy for kids with special needs. Lots of options so please reach out!
There are many ways to support our Kids Ministries in tangible ways that don't involve taking care of the kids. Help set up tables/chairs in our classrooms on Saturdays 4:00-5:15pm and stay for supper! Reset the classrooms after Sunday service so they are ready for midweek adult group use. Come in midweek to help organize toys, supplies or prep crafts. Support our special events with everything from set up to snack and clean up. We can help you find a spot to serve!
Being involved in Special Events is a great way to enjoy community and help in Kids Ministries without a long term commitment. We are always looking for people who will help plan these events, set up, help with registration and take care of the kids. Whatever your level of availability/interest, we'd love to connect with you about helping with an upcoming event. For example; Kids Night (a couple Friday evenings throughout the year), Live Nativity (Christmas), and Summer Half Day Camp.
Building relationships, discipling students, and leading life groups. Joining the worship team if interested.
General setup and takedown, running and organizing games, and joining the worship team if interested.
Welcome, guide, and assist people before, during, and after our weekend services.
Operate the Café before, during, and after weekend services. This includes making and selling specialty espresso drinks and managing the free drip coffee cart.
Setup includes assisting with the preparation of communion stations on the Saturday of our monthly communion weekends. Clean up includes dealing with left overs, washing and putting away communion trays on the Sunday of our monthly communion weekends.
Providing musical and technical support for our weekend services. Band roles include: vocalists, drums, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and piano. Tech roles include: video, sound, projection, and lighting.
Provide prayer to individuals after our weekend services.
Provide a meal for volunteers serving all afternoon on Saturday before the service.
This is for the creative person who loves turning moments into engaging social media content. This could look like filming short videos on your phone, capturing artsy behind the scenes shots, providing different point of views for Instagram and TikTok. This team is less about documenting the whole service and more about creatively sharing what God is doing here in ways that connect with people. If you enjoy storytelling, trends, visuals, or experimenting with content, we'd love to hear from you!
Every weekend there are powerful, joy filled, meaningful things happening around here and we want to capture them! From worship to prayer to the volunteers who make it all happen and the people in this space, your photos can help tell the story of what God is doing in our church. If you have a camera and a creative eye, we would love to have you on a weekend rotation or occasional schedule. It is such a fun way to serve.
A group facilitator is someone who can build relationships with others and guide spiritual conversations. Two opportunities are available.
Join a team to offer support, comfort and community to those experiencing a Life Challenge and share how God can provide peace and hope.
Join a team of people that pray for the needs of individuals in our church family and community.
Visiting those who are shut in or ill. This could take place in hospitals, long-term care, supportive living or seniors residences as well as in someone’s home if they are unable to attend church on the weekends.
Do you care deeply about people who are isolated and suffering? Would you like a flexible serving opportunity you can do from home? Join one of our calling teams who reach out to our 75+ seniors, shut ins, care givers and other hurting people in our community. If you could offer as little as half an hour a week, you could make a big difference in someone's life.
Preparing or buying an occasional meal for those who are ill or facing a crisis.
Every Sunday We Care happens in a downtown parking lot. Volunteers are needed to help pick up bread on Saturday/Sundays, bring supplies from the church to downtown, and to be a part of our We Care community.
Put together a bagged lunch with prepackaged and nonperishable items. This is the perfect opportunity to do in your home with your family.
Are your gifts in the realm of helps, event set-up, simple repairs? This is an active place with lots of requirements to allow ministry to happen. Could you serve periodically, or on a monthly schedule, or on call? Your time would be a huge blessing.
