The Really Jewish Part

Happy Friday, friends!

I hope you’ve had a good week. It’s a little tense out there as large numbers in our community are getting up close and personal with the virus that’s been wreaking havoc for roughly two years. I pray for good health and wellness, both physically and emotionally.

This Weekend

If you’re looking for something better than fretting over the state of the world this weekend, can I entice you to join one of our worship gatherings? We’re online and in person Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 9 am & 11 am.

This week’s message is part three of our B-I-B-L-E series where we’re telling the story OF the Bible, believing that some working knowledge OF biblical origins leads to embracing the story IN the Bible. If you’ve ever wondered how the Old Testament and New Testament fit together, and why followers of Jesus seized on the sacred texts of the Hebrews and called them their own, this message is for you.

Encouragement

Expect to hear some inspiring insights from the prophet Isaiah this weekend! Until then, here’s some bonus encouragement from the same source, ideally suited for today:

“The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak...those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.”

God bless and keep you, and give you strength.

This discussion will include practical tools you as a parent can use to navigate your own feelings towards their curiosity, while also fostering an environment that encourages your kids to talk about their questions and share what they are wrestling with.

Head to spac.ca/faithathome to register.
