Strathcona Christian Academy Society (SCAS) is a ministry of Sherwood Park Alliance Church (SPAC) and opened its doors as a private Christian school in 1980 with 347 students. The school evolved and enrollment increased, leading towards a partnership with Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) in 1998 as an alternative Christian program within the public school system. The vision for excellence in Christian education that includes academics, sports, arts and leadership has not changed over the years, and is respected and supported by EIPS.
With the addition of a second campus in 2007, Strathcona Christian Academy, SCA has expanded to two school campuses with enrolment of over 1,150 students. Strathcona Christian Academy Elementary and Strathcona Christian Academy Secondary. We love our students at SCA and are grateful to have this community and see the growth in both the school and the students.
We are firmly committed to hold the direction and vision of the Christian component of SCA at the forefront as students learn and are prepared for life after graduation. To learn more about SCA or registering, please see the link to the SCA Society website.
