I AM: The Resurrection & The Life
Greetings all,
...especially Mom, as we look forward to blessing you on the weekend!
I hope to see you Saturday or Sunday, as we’ve got some unique elements planned, which I’m confident will make these services memorable. Just trust me. I’m serious...trust me.
Today I also want to use this space for some staff news. We’ve got a change coming on our pastoral team, and before I share what needs to be shared, I want to state unequivocally: This is NOT a joke! A little over a year ago, I wrote that one of our pastors was leaving to become the host of a Christian television show...but it was an April Fool’s joke many of you believed, perhaps because you trust me! Sorry about that. And sorry, Brody, for the hassle!
This is real, and this one is personal after working closely with the man for almost 14 years, but this week Jeremy Cook submitted his resignation as one of our Senior Associate Pastors. Jeremy will leave our team at the end of June to take on a new ministry assignment – he’s being introduced as the new Assistant District Superintendent of the Western Canadian District of The Alliance Canada. So after residing their whole lives in Alberta, Jeremy, Heather, and their children will be relocating to Saskatchewan, and all that comes with transitioning cities, jobs, homes, schools, and ministry teams is now their reality.
I’ll get out of the way and let Jeremy speak for himself.
Over to you, Jeremy:
Greg Hochhalter | Lead Pastor
Dear Church Family,
It has been an incredible season here at SPAC for our family. We deeply love this church family and will continue praying for you faithfully. While we believe we are following God’s leading for our continued Kingdom impact as a family and are excited about this next adventure, know that we will miss you all so much.
I’m not gone quite yet. I look forward to connecting with you over the remaining few weeks. Please pray for us as we navigate all the practical implications of a move like this one.
Thanks for being a place where I could learn and grow.
Love, Jeremy
