Our hearts are breaking for the people of Ukraine and Russia as we watch the crisis unfold daily. We can feel discouraged, helpless, and unsure of what to do at a time like this.

We can pray.

We serve the One who hears us when we cry out, keeps track of all our sorrows and restores what is broken.

On March 30, we held a prayer gathering specifically to pray together for the crisis in the Ukraine.

The Alliance Canada is set up to receive donations for the Ukraine Relief through the Alliance Global Emergency Response Fund. These funds will help them with relief efforts (providing shelter, clothing, food etc.)

A former Alliance International Worker (Congo, Germany and Polland), Bill Finnemore, has been assigned to liase on the ground in Poland with our national church partner (Church of Christ in Poland).

• Bill and Diane Finnemore attend Rockpointe Church in Calgary. They served as International Workers for 29 years (14 years spent in Poland)
